Fighting Style
The following fighting styles take into account abilities that can be obtained through ability draws.
Clive enters a semi-primed state during Bravery Bursts, allowing him to unleash a relentless assault with enhanced normal attacks.
He can close the gap with Phoenix Shift and incinerate his foes with Rising Flames.
Flames of Punishment deals damage to nearby foes and fully restores Clive's HP, allowing him to burn a path through the battlefield.
Outfits
Background
The firstborn son of the Archduke of Rosaria and bearer of the title First Shield of Rosaria. While Clive's strong sense of responsibility gives him the conviction to follow through on his choices, it also burdens him with carrying the weight alone.
His skill at swordplay was recognized at a young age, and his role as First Shield was one of the many ways he served his family. His sworn charge was his own younger brother, Joshua, a Dominant who had inherited the power of the Phoenix.
Yet after the attack on Phoenix Gate, he lost his father, brother, and home in one fell swoop. Taken prisoner by the Holy Empire of Sanbreque, he was forced to fight as a lowly Bearer, spending many years struggling for survival on the battlefield.
Blinded by a need for revenge, it was not until he met Cid, Dominant of Ramuh, that the veil was lifted. Clive came to understand the harsh reality of his world: that even a simple life could be wrested away at any moment. He resolved to fight to change this reality.
His bond with his wolf companion, Torgal, is unbreakable and goes beyond words.
